Before replacing the battery, you should confirm that the replacement battery is compatible in size, cranking capacity, terminal configuration, and tray size with the model of the vehicle. Once this is checked, proceed to the following steps after considering safety measures for battery replacement.

Remember to wear safety glasses and gloves always. Extreme care should be taken while changing batteries in an automotive vehicle. It is highly recommended to change batteries in an open area with a lot of air circulation. Ensure not to pound the battery terminals to avoid internal battery damage. Old batteries should not be disposed off in their own rubbish or recycling bin. Instead, it is advisable to dispose of them legally and responsibly.
